What is planned
- Source: users’ “My Drive”, read through the Google Drive API.
- Google Docs, Sheets and Slides converted to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Revision history kept for ordinary files (PDFs, images, Office files already stored in Drive).
- Destinations: OneDrive or a SharePoint library, with the same incremental re-runs as other migrations.
In the meantime
Microsoft Migration Manager, part of the SharePoint admin centre, supports Google Workspace as a source. For an immediate need, look at it first.
